Cleaning notes for Maricopa County homes

Dust storms and monsoon season

Monsoon season runs from June 15 to September 30.

Dust storms, called haboobs, can roll across the Valley and leave a film on sills, ceiling fans and patio doors.

If you book every 4 weeks, moving to every 2 or 3 weeks for those months keeps the dust from building up.

Our monsoon season cleaning guide covers what to clean after a storm.

Hard water

Valley tap water is hard, so white spots build up on shower glass, faucets and toilet bowls.

A regular clean keeps those spots from setting in, and our hard water stains guide has tips for between visits.

Snowbird and seasonal homes

If you spend summers away, book an arrival clean a couple of weeks before you get back in the fall, and a closing clean before you leave in the spring.

Your cleaner can check for leaks or damage while you’re gone, and our snowbird cleaning schedule lays out the timing.

New builds and spring training

New homes in Buckeye, Goodyear and Surprise come with drywall dust in cabinets, vents and window tracks, and a post-construction clean takes care of it.

Cactus League spring training brings visitors to ballparks across the Valley every February and March.

A one-time clean the week before your guests arrive gets the guest room, bathrooms and kitchen ready.

How your price adds up

Your price comes from your bedrooms and bathrooms, the same in Glendale, Gilbert or Cave Creek.

3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms:

$100 + (3 × $30) + (2 × $50) = $290

Every 2 weeks, 20% off from the second clean:

$290 × 80% = $232

Deep / First-Time Clean added to the first visit:

$290 + $130 = $420

See every price on our house cleaning prices page.
