Our cleaners do their absolute best to provide exceptional service, but there are certain things that we cannot offer / guarantee. That said, the following are services that we do not provide:
- We prefer not to perform services while other services are being performed in or around the home (plumbing, painting, construction, etc.)
- No lifting or moving of items over 20 lb (refrigerator, stove, tables, etc.)
- No moving vases, hung pictures, or other delicate items.
- We are happy to load your dishwasher, but cannot replace dishes in cupboards once complete. We don’t want to break anything.
- Cleaning any item or area that cannot be safely reached using telescopic cleaning tools and a step stool.
- Exterior windows above the first story, or high windows inside. We are happy to refer a window cleaning company.
- Hauling junk or more than 2 bags of trash. Taking up to 2 bags off site is a special request, and home organization needs a dumpster on site or enough room in your trash bins. For bigger loads, a junk removal company comes first, and we clean right after they leave or the next day. We are happy to refer one.
- Removing excessive pet hair from upholstery.
- Removing strong odors (mold, animal waste, smoke, etc.). We still do our best.
- Cleaning inside dishwashers and washing machines.
- Cleaning light bulbs.
- Cleaning rodent or insect infested homes without advance notice, or during an active infestation. Book pest control first, then schedule your cleaning 2 or more days later. Cleaners do not clean up pest control chemicals. We are happy to refer a local pest control company.
- Removing excess paint from surfaces.
- Deep carpet / floor cleaning (steam cleaning, polishing, waxing, etc.), grout scrubbing, or cleaning a whole carpet or a large area of grout. Your cleaner tries specific spot stains with spray bottles and enzyme cleaners, and we are happy to refer a carpet or tile cleaning company for the rest.
- Heavy marks / stains on walls, baseboards, other painted surfaces. We don’t want to potentially damage your paint!
